Cancellation and Refund Policy
At Steps Training, our primary focus is to provide high-quality training programs, digital course materials, and online sessions tailored for professional growth. Since most of our services are delivered digitally or involve real-time instruction, all fees paid are generally non-refundable. By enrolling in any of our programs, participants agree to the following terms.
1. General Non-Refundable Policy
Once enrollment is confirmed and payment is processed, course fees will not be refunded under normal circumstances.
Refunds will only be provided in cases of:
Duplicate Payment (when the same participant makes more than one payment for the same course).
Technical Transaction Errors (such as payment failures confirmed by the payment gateway).
Other than the above cases, paid fees will be considered final and non-refundable.
2. Nature of Digital Services
All course materials, including e-books, resources, online videos, and recordings, are delivered digitally and cannot be “returned.”
Once digital content has been accessed, downloaded, or viewed, a refund will no longer be possible.
Access to our training sessions, whether live or recorded, is considered a consumed service the moment you attend or view any part of it.
3. Cancellation Requests (Before Course Start Date)
Participants may request cancellation before the course start date by emailing info@stepstraining.org.
In such cases, instead of monetary refunds, participants may:
Defer their seat to the next available batch of the same program.
Transfer their enrollment to another course of similar value (subject to approval).
4. Strict Non-Refund Cases
Refund requests will not be entertained if:
You have attended any live class sessions (online/offline).
You have accessed or downloaded digital study material provided during the course.
The course has already commenced.
You withdraw due to lack of time, change of plans, or personal schedule conflicts.
You have enrolled in customized corporate training programs designed as per specific company needs.
5. Rescheduling and Transfers
We understand that unexpected circumstances may occur. To support participants without offering refunds, we provide the option of:
Batch Transfer – Participants may shift to another batch of the same training program, subject to availability.
Course Swapping – Participants may request to transfer their enrollment fee to another available program of equal or lesser value (with management approval).
Deferment – Participants may defer their enrollment up to one future batch, beyond which the enrollment fee will be forfeited.
All such requests must be made at least 7 days before the batch start date and are subject to institute approval.
6. Course Cancellation by Institute
In the rare event that Steps Training Institute itself cancels or postpones a program:
Enrolled participants will be offered either:
A full fee refund, or
A complimentary transfer to a future batch without any additional charges.
Refunds in such cases will be processed and the amount will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 working days.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Steps Training Institute will not be responsible for refunds under the following conditions:
Participant’s lack of required technology or internet connectivity to attend online courses.
Failure to attend classes, sessions, or events due to personal reasons.
Dissatisfaction with course content due to personal expectations, since course outlines and coverage are provided in advance.
